INTRO TO PHOTOSHOP - A very broad intro to Photoshop. Learn how to manipulate photographic images, text and graphics using the industry standard software from Adobe. Amoung the subjects covered by the course are using the tools, layering images and text, blending, masking,
colour adjustment and image compression. Essential for those interested in graphic design
and photography alike. Suitable for those with little previous computer knowledge.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY - Using the settings of a digital SLR; ISO, white balance, aperture,
shutter speed - getting the most from your images, plus image manipulation with Photoshop.

film and image manipulation.As a creative practitioner and tutor I have worked for several training organisations across the
Uk and south west including; Effervescent theatre, AIM Higher, First data, COSMIC(Ottery St. Mary),
Exeter Royal Albert Museum, Exeter college, Exeter Pheonix media centre, Devon County council, RIO(Real ideas organisation), Nottingham city council.
I currently run the 'Intro to photoshop' course and the 'Digital photography course' at Exeter Phoenix media centre,
I have worked there as a freelance tutor for four years, covering other media subjects such as Flash animation,
film workshops and art workshops.
My experience encompasses a broad range of learning groups;
I have taught 16-19 yr old 'NEETS'(Not in education employment or training), artists, professional photographers, young children's art clubs and older generations wishing to get to grips with new digital subjects. I regularly work on project with young people, particulary vulnerable groups.
I write my own courses and material, which can be tailored to any needs.
I am able to offer one to one tution, or with groups anywhere across the south west.
Referees available, I am CRB checked and have public liability insurance.
