Talskiddy. 2004
Not the place Talskiddy, but the meaning - in cornish 'Talskiddy' means - 'the hillbrow of shadows',
an atmospheric line that sums up the feel of this film. This film was commisioned by
'Threshold studios' in Northampton, it came at a time when I was desperate to move
back home to Cornwall, it's influence is strong here......
I used a mixture of techniques; animation, old super 8 film, textures.
As a film I designed it for multiple viewings, there is so much layered together that there is
always something you miss and you will get a different feel everytime you watch it.
This film really has done the rounds, I've lost count of the amount of prestigous places it has
been shown, this really is due to the fantastic producers at Threshold studios,
Barry Hale and Uzma Choudry.
